▍ Persistent coding-agent terminal

A coding-agent terminal that survives your laptop.

Run Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Hermes, or OpenClaw in a hosted Linux shell. Close the browser, switch devices, and return to the same running session.

What changes

The terminal becomes a place you return to.

Keep the actual shell

Your agent works alongside Git, package managers, dev servers, background jobs, and the rest of a normal Linux environment.

Bring the provider you prefer

Choose among supported agent CLIs and sign in with the provider account you already use.

Pay for a stable workspace

Plans use a flat monthly price for terminals and storage, without metered Terminalbox compute charges.

How it works

From sign-in to a persistent session.

  1. 01

    Pick a capacity

Start with one terminal on Base, or choose Pro or Max when you need parallel agents and more persistent storage.

  2. 02

    Choose an agent template

Launch a prepared tool environment, complete the provider sign-in, and clone or upload your project.

  3. 03

    Detach instead of stopping

Leave the session running when you close the tab, then attach from any browser or the Terminalbox CLI.

Before you start

Questions worth answering.

Which coding agents are supported?

Terminalbox currently offers templates for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Hermes, and OpenClaw, plus a plain Debian shell.

Does Terminalbox include model usage?

No. You bring your own provider account. A Terminalbox plan covers the hosted Linux terminals and persistent workspace storage.

How is this different from a browser chat?

The agent runs inside a real shell with your files and development tools. You can inspect processes, run servers, use Git, and keep terminal state in tmux.

Are there per-minute compute fees?

No. Terminalbox plans are flat monthly subscriptions. Your separate model provider may impose its own limits or charges.

Persistent by default

Plans start at €6 per month for one hosted coding-agent terminal.
