Base is the starting point for one Claude Code terminal. Choose Pro or Max only when you need several agent sessions running at once.

Launch the prepared terminal and authenticate Claude Code with an eligible Anthropic account or another authentication method Claude Code supports.

Clone the repository and detach
Work in the browser or over SSH. Close the tab when you leave; your files, processes, and tmux session remain in the hosted environment.

What is Claude Code hosting?
Claude Code hosting moves the CLI and its Linux workspace off your laptop and into an always-available server environment. Terminalbox provides that environment through a browser terminal and SSH.
Is Claude usage included in the €6 price?
No. Terminalbox charges for the hosted terminal and persistent storage. Claude Code access, model usage, limits, and any Anthropic charges remain on the account or provider you use to authenticate Claude Code.
How is this different from Claude Code on the web?
Anthropic’s web product is excellent for cloud tasks and GitHub-centered workflows. Terminalbox is for developers who want one persistent, interactive Linux shell with their own files, tools, background processes, browser terminal, and SSH access.
When is a DIY VPS the better choice?
Choose a DIY VPS when you need root control, custom network or kernel configuration, or want to manage hardening, updates, terminal setup, and backups yourself. Choose Terminalbox when you want the coding-agent terminal prepared and reachable without that setup.
What survives when I close the browser?
The hosted container, your persistent home directory, running processes, and tmux session continue on paid plans. Reopening the terminal attaches you to the same environment.
Can I use tools other than Claude Code?
Yes. Terminalbox also provides templates for Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Hermes, OpenClaw, shell, and SSH. Each provider account and its usage charges remain separate.
